DeLovely Cake Design and Academy – Staff Onboarding Agreement

Welcome to DeLovely Cake Design and Academy!

As part of our growing team, we ask that all team members agree to the following workplace rules and policies to ensure a smooth, respectful, and enjoyable working environment for everyone.

1. ID and Contact Information

You must provide a valid photo ID (e.g. passport or driver's licence), and a valid visa if you are not an Australian citizen, prior to commencing work.

Please notify us promptly if your phone number, email, or emergency contact details change at any time.

2. Punctuality and Attendance

Being on time is essential to the smooth running of our daily operations.

If you're running late or unable to attend work, please notify the team as early as possible.

3. Communication

We value open, respectful, and solution-focused communication.

If there are any concerns or issues, please raise them directly and promptly so we can work through them together.

4. Following Instructions and Company Policies

You are expected to follow instructions from supervisors or managers.

All company policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) must be followed as part of your daily responsibilities.

If you're unsure about any instructions or policies, please ask for clarification.

5. Timesheet Submission

Timesheets must be filled out accurately and submitted within one (1) day of each shift.

Delays in submission may affect your pay or shift allocations.

6. Confidentiality

You must keep all business-related information confidential. This includes:

Recipes, techniques, and internal systems

Client details, event information, and order notes

Business tools, templates, workflows, and training content

This obligation continues after your time with DeLovely ends.

7. Ownership of Work

All work created as part of your role at DeLovely — including cake designs, recipes, photos, videos, documents, or training materials — remains the property of the business and must not be reused, copied, or shared outside of the workplace without written permission from the management.

8. Photos, Videos, and Social Media

To protect our clients, creativity, and brand image, no photos or videos may be taken or shared (including on social media or messaging apps) without prior written approval from management.

9. Social Media Account Management

If you are given access to manage or contribute to any of DeLovely’s social media accounts (e.g. WeChat, RED, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.):

All accounts, content, and follower lists remain the property of DeLovely Cake Design and Academy.

You may not use login details, branding, or content for personal or external use.

Upon leaving the company, you must return full access and any related login credentials to management immediately.

10. Conflict of Interest and Non-Compete

While working at DeLovely Cake Design and Academy:

You must not operate or be involved in any competing businesses of the same nature (including side businesses or freelance work), either directly or indirectly.

You must not use any knowledge, client contacts, recipes, designs, or business strategies from your time at DeLovely to benefit yourself or another business.

If you wish to engage in any external work, collaboration, or teaching related to baking or cake decorating, you must obtain written permission from management in advance.

This helps protect the creativity, reputation, and client trust that DeLovely has built.

11. Breach of These Terms

If any of the above terms are not followed, we may take the following steps depending on the nature of the issue:

• A reminder or verbal discussion

• A written warning

• Ending the employment if serious or repeated breaches occur

• Seeking return or removal of any unauthorised content or access

We aim to be fair and transparent and encourage you to speak with us if you're ever unsure about any expectations, policies, or terms in relation to this agreement.
